Therrin J. Eber is originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana. He has worked across the country as a Lighting Designer, Scenic Designer, Director, and Technical Director.

He received his M.F.A. from The University of Alabama in Lighting and Scenic Design, and his B.A. from Purdue University Fort Wayne in theatrical design and directing. He is currently an associate member of SDC, The Stage Directors and Choreographers Society.

His work has been found in different venues across the United States that ranges from theatre, concerts, special events, opera, and more. 

Therrin and his wife are currently based out of Birmingham, Alabama while he is a faculty member at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He has taught a range of classes from Stagecraft to Lighting Design or Theatre History - some of his favorite courses he has taught are Design For the Stage, Lighting Design, and Play Analysis. While at UAB he acts as a faculty member, production manager, and technical director. The hat closet is thriving and full.

Therrin spent 3 years at the University of Alabama as a graduate research assistant where he designed and built multiple shows a year, as well as taught classes ranging from Intro to Theatre to Lighting Design.

Recently he has had the opportunity to design for The Alabama Ballet's production of Bonnie and Clyde, as well as an old favorite The Barber of Seville with Opera Louisianne.
